Your first visit
What to expect, step by step.
Most patients are in and out in under 90 minutes on day one, with a plan they can read and a clear sense of what comes next.
01
Before you arrive
The booking portal checks your insurance, confirms clinician and location, and sends a prep reminder. Bring your Emirates ID and any prior imaging or reports.
02
Arrival & intake
Arrive 10 minutes early. Our front desk handles insurance on the spot. Changing rooms are available if you need to change into athletic wear.
03
Assessment
A 60-minute consultation with the clinician: history, hands-on exam, and objective testing on VALD force plates if indicated.
04
The plan
You leave with a written, milestone-based plan — how many sessions, how often, what each session targets, and what "done" looks like.
05
Follow-up
Subsequent sessions are shorter (30–45 min). Progress is re-tested every 2–4 weeks. You have the team on WhatsApp for questions between visits.
06
Discharge
When outcomes are met, we discharge. You leave with a maintenance plan and know exactly when to come back.
What to bring

FAQ
Common first-visit questions.
Do I need a referral?
Not for self-pay. Some insurers may require one — the booking portal flags this before you confirm, based on your policy.
How long is the first visit?
Consultations are 60 minutes for new patients, 30–45 minutes for follow-ups. Arrive 10 minutes early for intake.
Will I get a written plan?
Yes — every patient leaves with a written, milestone-based plan. We email a copy too.
Can I bring someone with me?
Absolutely. Partners, parents, translators — all welcome.
What if I need imaging?
If imaging is needed, we'll refer you to a partner imaging center in Abu Dhabi. You can also bring existing scans to your appointment.
